SVMCA POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
SVMCA also develops and
maintain a set of Policies and Procedures for the operation of the
system. These are sometimes referred to as "Administrative or
Operational protocols". A copy of the policies and procedures
manual is available in each ED and in the Department of Emergency
Medicine at Synergy Medical. As with the Practice Parameters all of the written
policies and procedures must be well known and followed by all involved
in the system, from EMS field providers to physicians providing On-Line
Medical Control.
